For a world in which evil and suffering seem to abound and Your love is forgotten in the rush for self fulfillment. May we all be instruments in changing the world away form the darkness and bringing it back to the light of Your love.

Yeah, that is something I have to focus on too. I'm not perfect and sometimes I feel I'm failing as a Christian but then I realize that every journey takes time to complete and even if I lived for a thousand years I still be learning by the end of it.
I think it's all about intention and the state of your heart. Obviously that doesn't mean that ignorance is an excuse but I think that if we always set out to do the right thing and learn when we make a mistake the experience is never wasted.
